We warrantees the OSCAR product to be free from manufacturing defects during the period indicated in the WARANTY CARD .This non-transferable warranty is only for the first end user on purchase from OSCAR Authorised Dealer. - 1. Warranty will be valid only when Warranty Card and original Purchase Invoice are presented together for service.

2. OSCAR reserves the right to decline warranty service, if the above documents are not presented or if the information contained is incomplete
or the Warranty Card is found tampered. - 3. This Warranty shall not cover any damages resulting from un-authorised adaptations or adjustments to the product.
- 4. This Warranty will be Void if the type or serial no. on the product has been altered, removed or defaced.

5. This Warranty does not cover any external accessories (such as battery, cable, carrying bag etc.) mentioned in the operating / instruction
manual supplied with this product or any cosmetic parts. -
6. This Warranty does not cover damage caused to the product due to improper installation by customer and / or connection of the product to
equipment not approved by OSCAR and deficiency in product performance due to signal reception through third party apparatus/equipment
or the use of third party software and/or recorded media. -
7. This Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear to magnetic heads, audio, video, laser pick-ups and TV picture tubes/Panel if the
product is used in commercial, business, industrial, educational or rental applications. -
8. This Warranty shall not apply to damages caused to the product by accident, lightening, ingress of water, fire or Acts of God, improper
ventilation, dropping or excessive shock or any external cause /or any damage caused due to tampering of the product by an unauthorised
agent.
OSCAR reserves the right to replace the defective part with an equivalent and/or reconditioned part.

TV
- 1. Read the operating instruction carefully before you turn on your TV

2. Operate the receiver only with specified AC supply voltage and
frequency -
3. To clean the TV set use a soft cloth. Never use solvent such as
thinner and benzene. (unplug the receiver before cleaning) -
4. Unplug the receiver and aerial when it is not to be used for an
extended period of time. - 5. Check your antenna peroidically

6. During thunder and lighting, unplug the power cord and antenna
cord to prevent your TV set from damage.
AC
- 1. Read this guide before installing and using the appliance

2. During the installation of the indoor and outdoor units the access
to the working area should be restricted to children - 3. Make sure that the base of the outdoor unit is firmly fixed.

4. Check that the air cannot enter the refrigerant system and check
for refrigerant leaks when moving the air conditioner -
5. The rating of the fuse installed in the built incontrol unit are
T5A/250V. -
6. Check that the socket is suitable for the plug otherwise have the
socket changed

1. Do not expose the receiver to rain or moisture, to prevent fire or
shock hazard. - 2. Do not drop any object into the television cabinet slots or openings.
- 3. Do not spill liquid of any kind on the television.

4. Do not open the cabinet by yourself, dangerously high voltage is
present inside the receiver. Refer to qualified personal only for
servicing. -
5. Do not overload wall AC outlets and/or extension cords as this can
result in fire or electic shock. -
6. Do not install the receiver in a location near heat sources such as
radiator, air ducts, direct sunlight, or a place like, closed
compartment and closed area - 7. Do not cover vantilation opening while using the set.

1. Do not install the appliance at a distance of less than 50cm from
inflammable substances (alcohol. etc.) or from pressurised
container (e.g. spray cans.) -

Service Tips
Before you call the service person, check the following points.
PROBLEM
CHECK ITEM
Not picture on screen and no sound from speakers
- Insert the AC power cord plug securely in AC power socket.
- Make sure the set is not in standby mode
- Turn on the powers button on the set
No picture from Av terminal
- Check the brightness setting of the set
- Lamp may have malfunction
- Make sure a cable with no video input signal is connected to this AV/S-Video INPUT terminal.
Picture is displayed but no sound from the speakers
- Check the volume settings.
- Make sure the sound is not muted
- Make sure the speaker is not turned off in sound menu
- Make sure that sound system is correct
Picture is too light, Picture is too dark
- Make sure COLOR and CONTRAST settings are proper
- Make sure BRIGHTNESS setting is not too low. Check the BRIGHTNESS nesting.
- Lamp many have malfunction
Remote control does not work
- Change the batteries.
- Make sure the infrared transmitter window is not receiving straight light such as light from florescent lamp
The picture is not sharp, the picture moves, Picture is snowy and noisy sound.
- The reception may be weak try another channel
- The state broadcast may also be bad
- Make sure that the antenna is facing be right direction
- Make sure the outside antenna is not disconnected.
The Multiple images and normal sound
- Try different channels If OK, Probably it is station problem
- Make sure the antenna is facing the right direction
- There may be reflected electric waves from mountains or buildings
The picture is spotted or interference on picture and noisy sound.
- There may be interference from auto miles, trains, high voltages, neon lights etc.
- There may be interference between the antenna cable and the power cable
- Try positioning them further apart.
There is striper on the screen or colour fade on interference
- Is the unite receiving interference from other devices? Transition antennas of radio broadcasting stations and noisy sound and transmission antennas of cellular phone may also cause interference.
- Place the unit as far as possible from devices that may cause possible interferences
Picture with no colour but normal sound
- Check colour setting on the set and check colour system.
- Check if station broadcasting colour picture.
Picture is scrambled and with normal or weak sound
- Retune Channels
Incorrect position of picture in PC mode
- Auto adjust H/V position
- Manually tray it to adjust HV position
Vertical bars or striper on background in PC mode
- Auto adjusts, try to adjust clock manually
Horizontal noise in PC mode
- Auto adjusts or adjust phase and clock.
